Hi my name is Hunter in Kauri class we have been writing recounts. My recount is about going to Hanmer Springs with my Dad


On  the weekend my Dad and me got in the car to Hanmer Springs to have fun.

We got there we had some food and then we went down the hydroslide. It was really funny because he almost fell off.

And then we went around the lazy river I splashed my Dad and he chased me. It was really funny.

And then we went home. We had a fun time.

    How wonderful to hear that you had a great time in Hanmer Springs. I wonder how many times you and dad slid down the hydroslide. I really enjoyed reading your recount.

    You have done well organising your recount, Hunter. I like the way that you have added some detail for the reader. Keep adding detail, Hunter, it makes your writing even more interesting for the reader.
